INGER PERSSON
An ikon from Rörstrand. Summer exhibition in the castle Läckö between 7 juni and 14 september.
This summer’s exhibition at the castle pays tribute to one of Rörstrand’s most beloved designers.
When Inger Persson joined Rörstrand in 1959, she was only 22 years old, but already a name on the rise. She had studied at Konstfack under influential teachers, including Gustavsberg’s Stig Lindberg, and created exactly the kind of art, youthful aesthetic that was in vogue at the time.

After a break in the 1970s, Persson returned to Rörstrand in the 1980s. Now the focus was on art objects and larger expressions. A new era where her creative power was given full scope in projects like Pro Arte.
