Sustainability

By being part of Stepping up Sustainability, the Tourist Board of Western Sweden's collective initiative for a sustainable tourism industry, Rörstrand Museum works actively with the goals within Agenda 2030.

TRAINEESHIP

Contact us if you are interested in doing your internship with us. We accept interns as time and opportunity allow. As an intern with us, you get a supervisor who, together with you, is responsible for your stay during the internship period.

DONATIONS

The museum accepts donations of items from Rörstrand and AB Lidköpings Porslinsfabrik that we believe can enrich the collection, but we are very reserved. If there is interest in donating an item, we accept good photos of the item so that we can assess condition and relevance. After careful consideration, you will be informed whether the item is eligible for donation or not. Rörstrand Museum is responsible, through a possible acquisition, for the care and professional storage of the object/s. An acquisition means full ownership for Rörstrand Museum. Donations are accepted unconditionally.

Owner / Legal Status of the museum

Rörstrand Museum is a limited liability company with special profit distribution restrictions. All museum operations take place in the company. Rörstrand Museum AB (svb) is owned by Stiftelsen Rörstrand's porcelain collections and the foundation owns the entire porcelain collection. The municipality of Lidköping sits together with Fiskars Sweden AB in the foundation. Rörstrand Museum receives an annual contribution from the owners: Lidköping Municipality and Fiskars Sweden AB. The Museum is also recipient of a three-year operating aid from the Västra Götaland Region.
