RÖRSTRAND MUSEUM'S COLLECTIONS
The museum houses a treasure trove of objects created by Rörstrand from the 18th century to today. Everything has been made of clay, carved out of the ground and turned into saleable products. The factory was developed through an uninterrupted artistic and technical endeavour, a quest for ever better ceramic materials, new methods, expressions and beauty, both in everyday goods and luxury ceramics.

HOW TO GET TO THE RÖRSTRAND MUSEUM
The Rörstrand Museum is a stone’s throw from Nya stadens torg in Lidköping, facing Vänerstranden. The museum’s entrance is in the courtyard of the Rörstrand Center.
By public transport
You can easily get here from Gothenburg and Mariestad on the Kinnekulle train, which has been named Sweden’s most beautiful train journey. From Stockholm you can travel by train with a simple change to bus between Skövde and Lidköping. From Lidköping’s travel center, cross over the railway bridge to the Rörstrand Center. Follow the tourist signs for Rörstrand from the town’s entrance roads. If you’re travelling along route 44 from Trollhättan, go straight ahead at the roundabout towards the town centre, on Mellbygatan. The easiest way to get to Rörstrand Center and the museum is via Fiskaregatan. Take a right into the gates, pass the paddling hall which you then have on your left and park. The museum has an entrance at Marianne Westman's place, behind the tall building that was previously a pulp preparation tower.Tips for more things to do

The museum is in the Rörstrand Center where you’ll also find the Iittala Outlet and arts and crafts shop – all located in the factory’s former premises.
