TRAINEESHIP

Please get in contact if you would like to apply for a traineeship at the museum. We welcome trainees subject to time and availability. You will be assigned a mentor for the entire traineeship period.

DONATIONS

Rörstrand Museum accepts donations of objects made at Rörstrand and AB Lidköpings Porslinsfabrik that we consider are important for our collection. However, we are extremely restrictive. Should you want to donate an object we would like to see photographs that allow us to judge its condition and relevance. After due consideration we will inform you of whether we are prepared to accept it or not. Rörstrand is responsible for the care and professional storage of accepted items. Rörstrand Museum has full ownership of the item/s. All acquisitions are unconditional.

Owner / Legal Status of the museum

Rörstrand Museum is a limited liability company with special profit distribution restrictions. All museum operations take place in the company. Rörstrand Museum AB (svb) is owned by Stiftelsen Rörstrand's porcelain collections and the foundation owns the entire porcelain collection. The municipality of Lidköping sits together with Fiskars Sweden AB in the foundation. Rörstrand Museum receives an annual contribution from the owners: Lidköping Municipality and Fiskars Sweden AB. The Museum is also recipient of a three-year operating aid from the Västra Götaland Region.
